Hilton HHonors™ Fantasy Racing Prize Contest – How to Play

Hilton HHonors Fantasy Racing (the "Game") is based on the 2014 professional Grand Prix automobile racing season ("the Season"). The opportunity to start scoring fantasy game points runs from 15th March 2014 (qualifying day of the Australian Grand Prix) and will finish on 23rd November 2014 (race day of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix). Fantasy game points will be scored based on performance of individual drivers, constructors and engines ("Components") for all qualifying days and races between these two dates ("Races").

You will receive a Fantasy Budget to create your own Fantasy Team. Your Fantasy Team will then receive Fantasy Points for the real life performance of your selected Components. You can submit a Fantasy Team at any time from 09:00 GMT on 21st February 2014 up until 16:59 GMT on Friday 21st November 2014 – this is the Friday before the final race in the 2014 season.

There is a strict limit of one (1) team per entrant. Any entrant found to have entered more than 1 team will be disqualified and removed from the game. You can join the game at any point throughout the competition. However you will not score points until your team is submitted.

Any reference to official Grand Prix drivers, cars, teams, sponsors or organizers on the Site and within the Game is purely to describe the nature of the content and Game being provided in this Site. No official or commercial association with any such Grand Prix drivers, cars, teams, sponsors or organizers is implied or intended. Participation is limited to eligible HHonors members, 18 years of age or older, in the US, UK, Republic of Ireland, Canada (excluding Province of Quebec), Italy & Germany, specifically excluding any Hilton-affiliated personnel. How to Play & Picking Your Team

Name Your Team:
Provide a name you want your Team to be called. Any names deemed inappropriate or offensive will be disqualified and withdrawn from the game .

How to Pick your Team:
To enter a team you must select a Fantasy Team which will score points based on the performances of individual Components (drivers, engines and constructors) in the 2014 Season. You have a total budget of 100 million Fantasy credits to choose a Fantasy Team comprising of the following:

4 x Drivers
2 x Constructors
1 x Engine

...Once your team is entered, please save your changes.

You can make up to 3 transfers per race throughout the season but points will only be scored for the team that you save. Your transfer allocation will be replenished at the end of each race . You cannot carry unused transfers over to the following race.
Each driver, constructor and engine will be given a value, based on previous performances and their potential for success during the upcoming season (i.e. the most expensive drivers, cars and engines will be those predicted to be the most successful).

Saving & Submitting Your Team

Free Transfer Window:
Up until 16:59 on 14th March 2014 GMT there is a transfer amnesty - you can make as many changes to your team until the transfer deadline. Transfers made after this time will be taken from the transfer allocation for that transfer period (for details see Transfer Section below )

All teams that are completed by the transfer amnesty deadline of 16:59 GMT on 14th March 2014 will be submitted automatically. Any teams that are incomplete, or entered after the transfer amnesty, will need to be manually submitted to start scoring points. To do this, press the 'SAVE' button which will appear on the 'Team' page once your team is FULLY built. In this case your team will not be eligible to score at qualifying or for the race. Whether or not you will qualify to score in any subsequent qualifying or race depends on whether you meet the respective deadlines set out in the below Transfer Section. The manual submission of your initial team will not be deducted from your transfer allocation.

Please Note: there will be a transfer lockdown for 10 minutes beginning at 16:59 GMT on 14th March 2014 when the teams are being submitted. You will not be able to make any changes to your team during this time..

Saving your Team Selections & Transfers:

When you want to build or change your team, you must do so prior to the Amnesty Deadline or within the Transfer Deadlines specified in the Transfer Section below. You must save your selections by pressing the 'Save' button. If you do not save your selections, your selections will not be recorded.
NOTE: You will not be able to make changes to your team over the race weekend, there will be a transfer lockdown in effect which is lifted at 00:01 the following Monday of each race weekend.

How to Score Points

Drivers
The drivers in your team are able to score points for both the qualifying session and race day of each Race. Other Components will score for the race day only.

Qualifying:
Qualifying takes place on the Saturday prior to the race. The qualifying session determines who will start where on the starting grid of the actual race. The last six positions will be occupied by the cars eliminated during the first (20 minute) period of qualifying (Q1). The next six positions will be occupied by the cars eliminated during the second (15 minute) session of qualifying (Q2). The top ten positions will be occupied by the cars which took part in the third (10 minute) session of qualifying (Q3), the fastest starting from pole position.

Drivers will score points in qualifying sessions as follows:
Q1: All drivers progressing to Q2 receive +5 points.
The driver who completes the fastest lap in Q1 will receive an additional +5 points.

Q2: All drivers progressing to Q3 receive +10 points.
The driver who completes the fastest lap in Q2 will receive an additional +5 points.

Q3: The driver who finishes Q3 in pole position receives +20 points.

If a driver is penalized after qualifying, and is forced to start further back on the grid, he will score fantasy points based on his qualifying time. For example, if Driver X qualifies in pole position, and is fastest in Q1 and Q2, but is forced to start at 5th on the grid due to an enforced penalty he will still score +45 points for qualifying.

The Race:

Each driver will be awarded +1 point for each lap completed in the race.

Each driver will generate +5 points for every position gained from his starting position on the grid to their final placing. Drivers will not lose points for losing places between the starting grid and end of the race.

If a driver climbs more than 8 positions between their grid and finishing position they will receive a bonus +10 points.

Example 1: Driver A starts the race in 5th on the starting grid, and finishes 1st in the race. He has moved up 4 places so will gain 20 points plus 1 point for each lap completed.

Example 2: Driver B qualifies in pole position, but has to change engines and so is penalized 10 places on the grid - and finishes 2nd in a race. He has moved up 9 places from his starting position, so will gain 55 points plus 1 point for each lap completed.

If a driver does not gain/lose any places from starting grid to race finish he will be awarded +5 points.

In addition, drivers that finish the race in the top 10 positions will score points as follows;

10th +1 point

If a driver is disqualified they will not score points for that particular race.

For example: If Driver C finished in 7th but he was disqualified after the race finished (but prior to 00:01am GMT (or BST in summer months, which is GMT +1 hour) on the Tuesday following the race) he would not score any points for that race. Points will still be scored for qualifying however.

Please note: if a driver is disqualified retrospectively for one or more races AFTER the prize winner(s) for that prize period have been announced, the original prize winners will still be valid and prizes will not be recalled or reassigned.

If a driver does not complete the race, but moves up positions from his place on the grid he will not receive any points for the positions gained. He will only receive points for the number of laps completed.

Constructors

Each constructor has 2 cars in the race - you will be awarded points based on the real-life performance of both cars.

+20 points for both cars finishing the race
+5 points for only one car finishing the race

Additional +5 points per car for finishing in the top 10 cars in the race. If a constructor has a driver disqualified no constructor points will be awarded for that driver.

Engines

You will be awarded points for the performance of your chosen engine:

+5 points for each car with your chosen engine finishing the race.

An additional +5 points for each car with your chosen engine finishing within the top 10.

If a driver is disqualified no points will be awarded for their engine.

For Example: If your chosen engine is from Company Z and 5 cars with engines from Company Z finish the race, 2 of which finish in the top 10, you will receive 35 points.

ENGINE GUIDE: To help you pick, the engines available to choose from in the Game are shown below along with the constructor's cars that they supply:

Mercedes - McLaren / Mercedes / Force India / Williams
Renault - Red Bull / Lotus / Caterham / Torro Rosso
Ferrari - Ferrari / Sauber /Marussia

Reverse Decisions

To keep this game as up to date as possible we will use the results that all the original news agencies report. If there are reverse decisions or the results are reported differently after 00:01 GMT (or BST in summer months, which is GMT +1 hour) on the Tuesday following the race, we will NOT change the original score reported. However, if the circumstance arises that the initial key news agencies incorrectly report the results of a race fantasy points will be subsequently changed within the game.

For example, if a driver is disqualified from a Race on the Tuesday afternoon following the Race, fantasy points will not be changed to reflect this and his initial Race results will stand. However, if the official report of the Race is incorrect and changed following the allocation of fantasy points, the points will be recalculated to reflect the correct official Race result.

Points will be scored for every race; even if only a few cars compete, points will still be awarded as per the usual rules for qualifying and finishing positions.

RACE SCHEDULE, ENTRY AND TRANSFERS SCHEDULE

You will be allocated 3 transfers for each Race (“Transfer Allocation”). You can make up to the limit of 3 transfers prior to each Race, but you may not carry over any unused transfers to the next race. Your transfer allocation will be replenished before each race.

You will receive your first transfers at 17:01 on 16th March 2014 GMT and then transfers will be allocated before each Race throughout the Season. Transfers will be allocated to your team each Tuesday before a Race at the weekend in accordance with the following schedule, which also includes the entry deadline for each week. All times are listed either as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), or British Summer Time (BST), the latter applying during the summer months and being GMT +1 hour:

The maximum budget of any team throughout the season is 100 million Fantasy Credits - therefore any transfer made must ensure the overall team is within its budget.

You must submit your entire team before the Friday transfer deadline to ensure that your team selection is final before the first qualifying race of the weekend.

Qualifying:

The transfer deadline to score points for the weekend event is 16:59 (GMT) (or BST during summer months, which is GMT +1) of the Friday before race day.

Race:

Components will only score points from the time/date they have been transferred into your team. Time of transfers will only be recorded as per the server clock (displayed in the bottom right hand side of the screen). For the avoidance of doubt, GMT is the relevant time, except during summer months when BST applies (GMT +1 hour).

Mini-Leagues

Every single team is automatically entered into the overall "World League". However, you can also enter your team into a private mini-league for you and your friends.

To do this, just log on to your team and visit 'Mini-League Admin' under the 'League' section of the website.

You can join up to 10 mini-leagues however you can only be the 'chairman' of 3 mini-leagues. Once you have joined a mini-league you cannot be moved or deleted.

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Any entry which, in the opinion of Hilton Worldwide, Inc. (“Sponsor”) or Silentworld Ltd (“Administrator”), does not comply with these instructions or any other requirements for the Game, or which contravenes the spirit of the Game, may be rejected, along with any incomplete, inaccurate or corrupted entries. Sponsor and Administrator reserve absolute discretion to disqualify any entry, or vary, amend or waive the rules of the Game or terminate the Game at any time and participants agree that no liability shall attach as a result thereof and that the exercise of such discretion shall not result in any compensation being payable or paid to any participant. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by all such rules.

The decisions of the Administrator, acting as independent judge for the Sponsor, are final and binding in all cases.
Entrants should not enter a name for any team, or any other information, including but not limited to mini-league messages that may be considered by others to be inappropriate or offensive or infringing the rights of any third party. A non-exhaustive list of material that may be considered to be inappropriate or offensive are names or messages that are obscene, pornographic, racist, abusive or harassing. Sponsor or administrator reserve the right to refuse to accept, and may change, any team names (or delete any messages) which they feel, in their discretion, are inappropriate or offensive for any reason. Any actual or attempted 'spamming' (the unsolicited emailing for business or other purposes), 'mailbombs' (the sending of multiple or large electronic files or messages with malicious intent or the e-mailing of copies of a single message to many users), hacking or other inappropriate activity, as determined by Sponsor and/or Administrator is grounds for disqualification and removal from the Game.
